For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the “Artist” refers to Beautystyle. The “Client” refers to the person named on the Quotation. Once the deposit is received by Beautystyle, the Client agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.​


BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a deposit is required to be paid. Client has the right to cancel within 14 days of paying the deposit (cooling off period), in this case,  Client will be refunded 50% of the deposit. The deposit amount is stated in the quote supplied by the Artist. Amounts for services which are required to be paid in full on the written quotation provided. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable after 14 days. Please be advised, dates and scheduled client times will only be reserved once a deposit is received.  A minimum amount spend of £350 is required during peak times, Sundays and Bank holidays , excluding trials and travel. 

PAYMENT: The person responsible for the entire balance of the payment is the person who has agreed to the Terms & Conditions. Payment of services is to be made via bank transfer prior to the service or in cash in full on the day of service and prior to service commencement


TRAVEL EXPENSES
The Client,  will be expected to cover all expenses for travel, including mileage, parking and hotel accommodation. Hotel accommodation will be expected if it is not practical to travel on the day of the wedding, such as destination, limited time available, or severe weather conditions have been forecast. 

ALLERGIES , DISEASES AND SANITATION

The Artist agrees to conduct a high level of sanitation before, during and after services to ensure the health and safety of The Client. The Client understands the need to make the Artist aware of any allergies and/or contagious diseases the bridal party may have that would put the Artist and their kit at risk before services are rendered. Failure to disclose of any such information means The Artist is not liable for injury or reaction. The Artist reserves the right to refuse services to anyone who has open sores, active virus or contagious illnesses. In this event, services are still payable and there shall be no refund of monies already paid.

The Artist cannot guarantee or be held accountable for any allergic reactions or any complications from the makeup or the application.


TRIALS

All trials take place at the Artists home studio in Newport NP10. If this is not possible, arrangements can be made for the Artist to come to the Client at extra cost. Trials can be booked Monday-Friday, 9.30am ‒ 2pm or after 4pm up until 7pm. Trials are advised for the bride and recommended but not essential for any members of the bridal party. Without a trial the Artist will not accept responsibility if a desired style or look does not meet expectations on the wedding day and a refund will not be issued. Prior notice must be given if the Client wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment. 2 hour time slots are allocated for hair and makeup and any reasonable adjustments, and 1.5 hours for hair / makeup . Additional trial time will be charged at £10 per hour if your trial exceeds this time. In the unlikely circumstance where expectations are not met and/ or the client is uncooperative, not open to suggestions or makes the Artist feel uncomfortable, The Artist reserve the right to cancel a booking following a trial without a refund of the deposit.


CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES & PENALTIES

In the unfortunate event that the Client has to cancel a booking completely within 90 days prior to the wedding date, they agree 50% of the balance will become due payable by bank transfer within 7 days of cancellation. If the Client, cancels booking within 30 days prior to the wedding date, they agree the full quoted balance will become due payable by bank transfer within 7 days of cancellation
Unexpected occurrences are extremely rare, however, it is advised that the Client takes out wedding insurance to cover all eventualities. 
FORCE MAJEURE

For the purpose of this contract, Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of either party, including but not limited to Act of Nature, Compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation, or direction, fire, flood, or storm

Consequence of Force Majeure Event


Neither party will be liable to the other party for failure to perform any of the obligations under this Agreement to the extent such performance is hindered, delayed, or prevented by Force Majeure. 

In the extreme circumstance where the Artist is unable to honour the booking (e.g due to adverse weather, act of nature, or caused by any events reasonable deemed beyond control of the Artist), responsibility is limited to the return of all monies paid to date (not including booking fee or trial payments) via bank transfer within 14 days.

Should a Force Majeure postpone your wedding, the Artist will honour the booking fee and any additional monies paid towards services for that day, and apply it to a future date giving that it is available. in the event, the Client should do their upmost to keep the Artist informed when rescheduling to retain services. If a date is booked that the Artist cannot honour, all monies paid to date for services untendered (not including booking fee or trial payments) will be returned to the client at the earliest convenience. 


CLIENT OBLIGATIONS – TRIAL & WEDDING DAY The Artist needs to be working in a suitable environment with adequate lighting, electricity points, and hand wash facilities in order to carry out tasks on the day. The Client should ensure every member of the wedding party is aware of timings on the day and that they need to be available when required. Children must be kept away from styling tools at all times and supervised to avoid any accidents. The Artist will not be held responsible for any accidents that may occur 


PRIVACY: The Artist takes the Client’s privacy seriously and will not divulge or discuss any details regarding your booking or your personal details with anyone not directly connected with your booking. All details collected are for the sole purpose of providing the best possible service to the Client. After the booking has concluded, the Clients details will be kept securely for a maximum of three (3) years in accordance with taxation requirements. The Artist will never knowingly give or sell your information to a third party.

USE OF IMAGES: The Artist may use on its website and/or in any advertising media is deems appropriate that is capture by the Artist. The Client also agrees to release the name and contact information of professional photographers and/or videographers used for recording any event for which the Artist has been contracted to provide services for
